About Us
Ultrasound Mobile Unit Coming Soon!
Love at First Sight, Inc. is a Christian nonprofit organization promoting a culture of life through ultrasound and education. It was established to provide free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, outreach, pro-life education to both health professionals as well as members in the community including schools and churches, and support of other life-affirming services. We are purely volunteer-driven and professionally supported with experienced leaders in the field.
Our Vision is to help the world realize the beauty in every human life, no matter how small it may be.
Mission
We promote the gift of life through ultrasound, education and support services consistent with our Christian faith while following Catholic teaching on the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
Our Members
Dr. Carlos Moreyra is a practicing orthopedic surgeon based in Florida and a retired Commander from the US Navy Reserves. He has been active advocating for life since his high school days. At Temple University School of Medicine he co-founded a pro-life medical organization to promote alternatives to abortion.
In his involvement as an orthopedic surgeon, he has a keen interest in nutrition and fitness in order to address the root causes of chronic diseases. On his spare time he enjoys sprinting, weight, lifting, running and other outdoor activities.
He has several “favorite”quotes from the Bible, but the one that drives his work the most is “Well done, good and faithful servant .” Matthew 25:21.
Tonya is a pro-life speaker and pregnancy clinic consultant. She has been involved in the pro-life movement since 2008 and helped launch the third mobile ultrasound clinic in the country, the Hope Ultrasound Mobile Unit. Tonya is also a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and helps advise pregnancy clinics who are interested in going mobile and provides on site ultrasound training.
Tara is a strong pro-life advocate and busy mom of five and grandmother to three. She is also founder and CEO of Mustard Seed Leadership. She helps Christian businesses, churches and schools grow with purpose and impact. Tara brings with joy her unique expertise of marketing and educational leadership in service to the Love at First Sight ministry as board secretary.
